We’re excited to have you join us for the 2020 Youth Empowerment Camp where we’ve created a camp experience with social distancing and fun. Due to the pandemic and the format of our camp, our leadership has decided camp cannot be in person this year. We have redesigned camp to provide unique experiences for campers and families that will emphasize on a variety of topics that will include but not be limited to: building family relationships, learning valuable life lessons, building self-awareness, self-esteem, and self-empowerment.  We have several local partners that have joined us this year to make this experience full of opportunities for creative adventures that campers can experience while at home.

 

The 2020 Youth Empowerment Camp will be a tour of events with a theme - Survivor Camp in a Box!  The kickoff event will be held on:

Tuesday, July 7, 2020, starting at 8:00 pm

at the Hi-Way Drive-In
(located 5 miles east of Sandusky & 9 miles west of Port Sanilac on M-46 in Carsonville, Michigan.)

This event is open to everyone in the household! 

The registered camper will be getting a special “Camp in a Box” filled with instructions & fun activities that can be done at home, or even while out & about! Also, in the box will be information on the next event in the Survivor Camp tour!

 

Admission into the drive-in will be FREE for everyone in the vehicle. There will be 2 movies starting at dusk for families to enjoy together:
Wonder (PG) & The Blind Side (PG-13)

**these movies were selected by the collaborating agencies after surveying the parents about topics that are affecting kids today**
