Privacy of SCCAPC Information
All information about past or present clients of SCCAPC, including the CAC (Children’s Advocacy Center) program, is strictly confidential and shall be handled in compliance with all applicable federal and state statutes and in accordance with professional ethics and standards. All employees (past and present), consultants, students and volunteers are required to comply with this policy.
All employees, students, consultants, and volunteers are required to keep confidential any and all information pertaining to families or others involved with SCCAPC. A violation of the confidentiality policy can result in disciplinary action up to and including dismissal. In addition, persons violating the confidentiality policy may be subject to civil action, criminal penalties or professional discipline.

All employees, students, consultants, and volunteers will not share any case information outside SCCAPC, except as part of work with collaborating agencies such as Protective Services or law enforcement.
All employees, students, consultants, and volunteers will not talk about knowledge gained of specific cases that may appear in the public media.
All employees, students, consultants, and volunteers will not initiate contact with clients or their family members when encountered in public places or acknowledge familiarity with them as it relates to SCCAPC business.

We are the sole owners of information collected on this site. We only have access to collect information that you voluntarily give us via our website, email or other direct contact from you. Wherever we collect sensitive information such as credit card data, that information is transmitted to us in a secure way.
